Getting Sketchy!

Hello Everyone!!  Did you know there are challenges happening all this month over on the Power Poppy Blog?  You could WIN a set of your choice!!!  So what is the challenge this month?  We're getting sketchy!!  Just follow the sketch for your creation and feel free to flip it any which way! Entries will be accepted until 3PM USA EST on May 30th. Winner announced on June 2nd, after our June release. If you play along at Splitcoaststampers, use the keyword: PPSKETCH1 so we can find you!  Winner wins a set of their choice.  For all the details pop on over to the Power Poppy Blog!!
I've kept pretty true to the sketch and didn't flip it or anything.  I've used a base of dark purple bazzill and layered with Very Vanilla (that I pierced) and some pretty Violet Crush DP.  I've cut a piece of Vanilla with Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 and put it in the middle.  Over this I've attached two pieces of lavender ribbon and added a couple of pearl flourishes.  I've used Peonies for my image and coloured it with V20, V22, V25, V28, G20, G12, G24, G28, E23, C1, C3, C5 and added some YR30 for the 'glow' around the image.  It's been cut with Spellbinders Small Oval Nestabilities and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.  I've cut the sentiment from Gladioli out with Spellbinders Opulent Ovals and airbrushed it with YR30 while it was still in the die.  To finish I've added a couple of cream buttons to the ribbons.

Stamps - Peonies, Gladioli (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Dark Purple Bazzill, Very Vanilla, Kaisercraft Violet Crush DP
Ink - Printer
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Small Oval Nestabilites, Majestic Labels 25, Opulent Ovals; Lavender Ribbon, Cream Buttons, Pearl Flourishes, X-press It Foam Tape, Paper Piercer.

Want some more sketchy inspiration?  Pop by these Bloom Brigade blogs and leave some love!
Come play along over at Power Poppy - we'd love to see what you make with the sketch!!  Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!  :)
