Happy Birthday Power Poppy!

Hello Everyone!!  Today is an exciting day!!  One year ago today Power Poppy bloomed to life spreading floral goodness, positivity and happiness throughout the cardmaking community!! What does this special day mean for YOU??  Are you sitting down???  There is a $100 gift voucher to the Power Poppy Store up for grabs!!!!  SQUEEEE!!!!  To win, pop on over to the Power Poppy Blog where there is all sorts of fun and information about today's HOP!  If you have already been and are on the way through the hop, then HELLO and happy hunting!!  :)  Of course it's is almost release time again.....so make sure you pop back on Sunday for the brand new April Release.....you are going to *love* it!!!  I know I say that every month, but really....you are going to love them!!

So what has this past year been like for me as part of the Bloom Brigade??  Well of course there are the most glorious images to play with and the flowers.....swoon.....the flowers are just AMAZING and these are thanks to our beautiful, bubbly, over-the-top and totally FUN leader, Marcy!!  I feel so blessed to have been invited to join this team and share the last year with such a beautiful group of women who are not only insanely talented but so caring, thoughtful, sweet and fun as well!

Ms Marc, you have been such a source of inspiration and your positivity just glows through you, through the company and leaves a sparkle on all of us.  You inspire me not just to create beautiful cards, but your view on life in general has inspired me in other parts of my life as well!  Thank you for making this crazy ride such a hoot, making us laugh and just, well.....for just being you!!  Big Hugs and Congratulations on this special day - ENJOY THE RIDE!!!

NOW - onto my card deets............I've used a base of Cherry Cobbler and layered with Baked Brown Sugar.  Around this I've attached ivory and red ribbons.  Next I've stamped the image and sentiment from Short Stacks in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (see below).  I've cut this out with Spellbinders Nobel Rectangle and matted it with Cherry Cobbler cut with the largest die from the same set.  To finish I've added a red bow and a couple of red enamel dots.

Copic Colours used - E50, E51, E53, E55, R32, R35, R37, G40, G43, G46, E01, W0, W1, W3

Stamps - Short Stacks (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Cherry Cobbler, Baked Brown Sugar
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Nobel Rectangle, Red and Ivory Ribbons, Bow Easy, Red Enamel Dots

Why not keep celebrating and pop by the Bloom Brigade blogs and leave a little love!
Thanks for popping by, hope you are enjoying the hop and make sure you stop by the Power Poppy Blog for all the details on how you can win the $100 Gift Certificate.....and leave Marcy a comment/note and send your congratulations on her One Year Birthday!!
