Cut it Out!

Hello Everyone!!  Today's card was made for this month's Power Poppy Power & Spark Challenge, hosted by the lovely Stacy Morgan who is challenging us to CUT IT OUT!!

http://powerpoppy.blogspot.com.au/2015/05/ready-for-snip-of-power-spark.html

Get those scissors ready and do a little fussy cutting - the whole image, part of an image - the choice is yours!!  Did you know you can WIN A FREE SET OF YOUR CHOICE????  You can enter as many times as you like by linking to the Power Poppy Blog by May 31st!!  You can find all the details HERE!!

I've used a base of Kraft and layered with Very Vanilla (pierced around the edge) and some MME Heirloom DP.  Down the side I've created a pair of notched tags, also using Heirloom DP.  Across this I've used two pieces of ivory lace.  I've stamped the image from Simply Camellias in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics.  For more details on the Copic numbers and colouring the leaves - check out THIS post on the Copic Oz Blog.  I've then fussy cut it and popped it up on a piece of Vanilla card embossed with Spellbinders' Cane Weave embossing folder.  I've then matted this with Kraft cut with Lacey Circles Nestabilities and popped it all up on foam tape.  To finish I've stamped the sentiment, also from Simply Camellias in Memento Tuxedo Black.

Stamps - Simply Camellias (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Kraft, Very Vanilla, MME Heirloom DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Large Circle and Lacey Circle Nestabilities, Cane Weave Embossing Folder, Ivory Lace, X-press It Foam Tape, Paper Piercer and Template

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting, hope you play along and are inspired to stamp!!  :)

That cane weave embossing is SO cool as a backdrop for the camellias Kathy! What a pretty design!

After seeing this pretty thing I had to go check out your Copic Oz post. I'll be adding some of those greens to my next order. I don't have G43 or G46 (I think those were the numbers). You sure do some gorgeous coloring!
