Tigerlilies!

Hello Everyone!!!  Here is another card I made for the DTGD challenges (you'll only be able to see these if you are a fan club member of SCS) which incorporates Julie's second challenge, Joan's (again) and Edna's (to give her something other than blue to look at :D )!!  It also fits beautifully for the new CopicOz Challenge which is to use your copics to colour FLOWERS!!!  Anyone is welcome to enter and there is a PRIZE of a Pack of 10 sheets of X-press It Blending Card and a 24 Copic Wallet!!!  The challenge is open until 23rd August and we hope you can play along with us!!!!

I started with a base of Pumpkin Pie and layered with black bazzill and some Very Vanilla embossed with Gootchi Script EF.  The next panel is more black bazzill punched with the Fleur de Lis border punch and topped with Material Girl DSP.  Below that I added some black satin ribbon.  Next I stamped the Tigerlily from Flourishes' A Year in Flowers 2 stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics - YR12, YR16, YR18, G12, G14, G16.

(For all my North American friends, you can now buy the X-press It Blending Card in the USA through Imagination International (Copic USA) and should be able to order it, Mask It and X-press It High Tack Tape through anywhere that stocks Copic!!!  For more info - check out Marianne's Blog for Blending Card, Mask It and High Tack Tape!!  For all my Aussie friends - you can buy these products through your local Copic Stockist!!)

I sponged a little around my tigerlilies and cut it out with Small Oval Nestabilities and matted it with Pumpkin Pie cut with Label 10 Nestabilities and popped it up on foam tape.  To finish I added a black satin bow made with my bow easy and a couple of black pearls.

Stamps - A Year in Flowers 2 (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Black Bazzill, Cosmo Cricket Material Girl DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Label 10, Small Oval Nestabilities, Fleur de Lis Border Punch, Black Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Black Pearls, Gootchi Script EF, Foam Tape.

That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, Kathy!! Love the colours. I have to laugh every time I see a tiger lily. Had some girlfriends trick me once and send me flowers from a guy and when I thanked him he said he didn't send them. Needless to say, i got even LOL!

Fabulously coloured, and I love the border punch on the one panel and script on the cream.

Swimming lessons are now over - yeah I won't smell like chlorine for a while now LOL! Must admit I will miss the swimming laps though. Now that my body got over initial shock it has been a wonderful workout.
